Delhi to Jaipur 4-Day Trip by 17 Seater Tempo Traveller from SKTC

We were planning an outstation journey and wanted a vehicle that would let our entire group sit together, laugh together, and travel comfortably. We chose the 17 seater tempo traveller on rent in Delhi from SKTC, and this became one of our most memorable travel decisions. The journey was smooth, relaxed, and full of happy moments. Below is our detailed 4-day Delhi to Jaipur itinerary, including places to explore, food suggestions, activities, travel comfort, and group experiences.

Day 1: Delhi to Jaipur – The Road Begins

We left Delhi early in the morning. The Tempo Traveller from SKTC made our journey super comfortable with pushback seats, legroom, AC, and luggage space. The fun of traveling together — singing, chatting, and clicking candid pictures — made time fly.

Food on the way:

We stopped at a Rajasthan-style highway dhaba for breakfast and enjoyed:

Aloo paratha with butter

Masala chai

Bread omelet

Fresh curd

By afternoon, we reached Jaipur, checked into our hotel, freshened up, and later went out for a casual walk in Jaipur's lively market areas — MI Road and Bapu Bazaar. We tried the famous pyaaz kachori and lassi before resting at night.

Day 2: Jaipur's Royal Heritage

After breakfast at our hotel, our sightseeing began with Jaipur's crown jewels:

Amber Fort – We admired the mighty fort walls, mirror palace, and royal corridors.

Jal Mahal – Floating on Man Sagar Lake, perfect for photos.

City Palace – Rich museum, royal costumes, weapons, and paintings.

Jantar Mantar – Historical astronomical marvel of Jaipur's founder.

Lunch recommendation:

A Rajasthani thali with dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, missi roti, lassi.

In the evening, we enjoyed street shopping:

Handcrafted souvenirs

Rajasthani juttis

Jaipur quilts

Lac bangles

Turbans and textiles

We returned to the hotel for a relaxed dinner and pleasant sleep.

Day 3: Culture & Local Experience

This day was for culture and fun!

In the morning, some of us explored nearby temples and historic spots, while others preferred more local shopping and photography.

Evening at Chokhi Dhani

This was the highlight of our trip — an authentic Rajasthani village theme experience.

Activities we enjoyed:

Camel & bullock cart ride

Puppet shows

Rajasthani folk dances

Fire dance performance

Traditional games

Palm reading

Henna art

Dinner at Chokhi Dhani:

We were served with love and warmth — dal baati churma, kadhi, pakodi, papad, choorma, rabdi, ghevar, and more. The cultural richness, music, and hospitality created unforgettable memories.

Day 4: Jaipur to Delhi – With New Memories

For our final day, before leaving Jaipur, we visited:

Hawa Mahal (photo stop) – The iconic honeycomb-style palace

Nahargarh Fort (optional) – Stunning aerial views of Jaipur

Return Journey:

We started back to Delhi in the afternoon. The tempo traveller again became our moving living room — everyone together, sharing jokes, snacks, and music. The AC kept us cool, and the reclining seats ensured comfort even after long hours.

By evening/night, we reached Delhi safely, carrying memories of fun, culture, food, heritage, and togetherness.
