This is the first dip we've seen in three years, largely due to skyrocketing memory chip prices. Manufacturers are caught in a dilemma: sacrifice display quality for storage space, or vice versa. As someone who loves a good display on my smartphone, it's hard to imagine choosing between that brilliant screen and the storage for all my cat videos.
